Looking for tranquility and beauty? Folk Song Farm is located on 48 acres of heaven on earth. With a quiet and private country setting, wooded trails, rolling open fields and views of the iconic and historic Holy Hill. Sunsets and fire pits are always enjoyed at a days end.
Our barn was built in 1853 with large hand-hewn wooden beams and a stone silo wall showcasing the history. Wildlife is common throughout the property with birds and deer often close our south-facing deck.

Located just north of Milwaukee in rolling hills of the Kettle Moraine, Folk Song Farm is easy to find with fine lodging just moments away. Guest accommodations for up to 320 guests are located on one level of the venue; making everyone feel included. We can seat 250 for a plated meal.
We’ve even included handicap tables to easily fit wheelchairs into seating arrangements. Complete with men’s and women’s flush restroom trailer on site. Your guests will be wowed by the enjoyable experience they have at Folk Song Farm.

When it comes to important life events, no one has time for unwanted surprises. At Folk Song Farm there is no need to be stuck in traffic. You won’t be hunting for a parking spot, or packing up and running from place to place on your big day.
Sit back, relax and enjoy being at one location. With a lot of room for parking, indoor or outdoor ceremonies and a spacious layout for dinner and dancing. Our extensive wooded trails and rolling hills provide beautiful opportunities for photography. The Hen House is designed for the ladies to prep and pamper before the day gets going and the men enjoy having their own space in the Bull Pen.
Keeping your budget in check
We believe in a hassle-free lump sum pricing structure. No need to worry about a surprise bill or calculating a weird pricing structure. Everything we offer is included in your package price. You won’t be rushed to set up or run out by a demanding clock. Plus you can bring your own beer, wine, and liquor licensed, insured bartenders of your choice. Choose your own catering vendor.

We have always believed in doing things the right way. With 25+ years of event planning experience, we have thought of every detail. Our property is legally zoned for hosting events and educational experiences, so you can trust that we will still be here when your date arrives.
We keep our buildings clean and fully functioning. New electrical was recently installed during our renovation process; keeping catering, DJ’s, and lighting in mind. Our indoor catering quarters includes refrigeration, freezer storage, and a large indoor prep space. Professional and dimmable lighting was installed to create a warm and intimate space while highlighting the Barn’s unique, historic features.
